How Many Cam Models Are Online?

We aggregate several major cam networks into one discovery view, and pulling the raw numbers shows how differently they compare on size versus how many models are actually live. As of July 2026, our data covered ten networks, and each carries two counts worth separating. The online number is how many models were streaming at the moment we took the snapshot. The total is how many active profiles we track for that network, which folds in models who were offline but seen recently. The two rarely move together. A network can hold a large catalogue and still show only a modest live pool at any given hour. So if you are deciding where to browse, the live count usually tells you more than the catalogue, and reading both side by side beats trusting either one alone. One caveat before the numbers: a model can keep profiles on more than one network, so these are overlapping groups rather than separate populations you can add up.

Where most of the live rooms are

Stripchat and Chaturbate sit well ahead of everything else on both measures. Stripchat showed 3,981 models online out of 51,372 active profiles, and Chaturbate 3,123 online out of 46,322. No other network in the snapshot broke 1,200 live. For someone browsing, that scale is the practical part. A larger live pool means more choice at almost any hour, and it holds up better through the quiet stretches of the day when smaller networks can thin out to a handful of rooms. It also means more variety inside a single feed, so filters for language or look still leave enough to scroll through once you apply them. The cost is that a big feed is a blunter one. Reaching a specific kind of room usually takes more filtering than it would somewhere smaller.

The mid-tier and the smaller networks

Below the two leaders, the numbers step down in stages. Jerkmate (1,176 online of 13,663), BongaCams (1,029 of 11,356), CamSoda (763 of 7,783), MyFreeCams (673 of 10,146), and LiveJasmin (409 of 4,151) make up a broad middle. CAM4 (155 of 3,113), ImLive (64 of 907), and XCams (52 of 794) sit lower still. A smaller live pool is not automatically a worse one. Fewer rooms can feel more curated and less noisy to move through, though it also means slower hours when almost nobody is on. The share of a catalogue that is live at any moment varies between networks too. CamSoda and LiveJasmin each showed close to a tenth of their profiles online in this snapshot, while MyFreeCams and CAM4 showed a smaller slice. Read that as a rough tendency at one moment, not a fixed trait.

Why the live count matters more than the catalogue

When what you want is someone streaming this minute, the total profile count is close to irrelevant. XCams tracked 794 active profiles but showed 52 live in the snapshot. ImLive tracked 907 and showed 64. A large catalogue with few models on air still leaves you clicking into offline rooms, which is the opposite of what a live view is for. It is also why we lead our own grids with who is online rather than with how many profiles exist. The catalogue tells you how deep a network could go across a full week. The online number tells you what is actually on right now, and it is the figure that swings most from one hour to the next. If you are opening a page to watch rather than to bookmark, that second number is the one worth reading.
