Chaturbate vs Stripchat
Chaturbate and Stripchat are the two largest networks in our index, and most comparisons between them run on impressions. We counted the profiles instead.
Everything below comes from a snapshot of our index taken in August 2026. Counts move all day and all week, so read them as rough proportions rather than fixed scores.

How many models does each site have?
Our index holds 62,337 Chaturbate profiles and 54,719 Stripchat profiles, a gap of about 14%. That sounds like a lot until you look at what sits behind it.
Neither number tells you much by itself. A counted profile is one that has shown up in the feed and passed our safety filters. It is not a promise that the person is streaming tonight, and a network that keeps dormant accounts on the books will look larger than one that prunes them.
Which site has more models online at once?
When we took the snapshot, Chaturbate had 4,374 rooms live and Stripchat had 3,888.
The ratio is the part worth looking at. Roughly 7% of profiles were online on either network: 7.0% for Chaturbate, 7.1% for Stripchat. The difference in total size doesn't carry through to how much of each roster is awake at any given hour.
So if your question is which site has more people on right now, the two are close enough that something else should decide it.
Which is better for couples cams?
Here the two stop looking alike. Couples are 22.6% of Stripchat's profiles, or 12,351 of them. On Chaturbate they are 5.2%, or 3,265. Live at the snapshot: 729 couple rooms on Stripchat against 186 on Chaturbate, close to four times as many.
If couples are what you came for, that gap is wide enough to settle the question by itself. It was the biggest split we found anywhere between the two networks.
Our couples cams page shows what is live across every network we index.
Which has more guys and trans models?
Here it runs the other way. Male models are 25.6% of Chaturbate's index (15,930 profiles) against 10.4% on Stripchat (5,673). Trans models are 9.7% against 6.0%. At the snapshot, Chaturbate had 608 male rooms live to Stripchat's 267, and 402 trans rooms to Stripchat's 197.
Put the two sections together and the split reads clearly enough. Stripchat is weighted toward couples, Chaturbate toward solo male and trans performers. Female models sit at roughly 60% on both, so that category won't separate the two networks for you.

Where are the models based?
One country dominates both networks, and it is the same country. Colombia accounts for 1,152 of Chaturbate's live rooms and 893 of Stripchat's. As a share of everyone online that is 26.3% and 23.0%, close to a quarter either way. If you have noticed that cam sites feel Latin-heavy whichever one you open, this is why.
After Colombia the data stops holding up, and the models are not the reason. Location on both networks is a free-text field each performer fills in themselves. Our index carries ISO codes, full country names, the word "Europe", and a fair number of entries that are not places at all. We normalise Colombia, because the variants are numerous and unambiguous. We leave everything else as it arrives, so a country that appears three times under three spellings gets counted three times.
Colombia is a real and large share on both networks. The rest of the country data is too messy to rank, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
Do the two sites use the same categories?
No, and the gap is wider than we expected. Look at the tags our index carries for models online on each network. Stripchat gives us 1,815 tagged caucasian, 1,463 black-hair, 1,037 curvy, 732 blond-hair, 420 ebony, 405 asian. Chaturbate gives us 333 milf, 191 caucasian, 184 mature, 51 brown-hair, 28 asian.
Read those as a headcount of who is on each site and you would conclude that Chaturbate has almost no curvy models and Stripchat has almost no MILFs. Neither conclusion is true.
What the numbers describe is two different tagging systems. Each network runs its own category vocabulary, applies it at its own density, and hands us what it has. Stripchat tags heavily across appearance categories. Chaturbate tags sparsely and leans on a different set of labels, so a model who would be tagged four ways on one network may carry no tags at all on the other.
The comparison doesn't hold, but the browsing consequence does. Category filtering works well on Stripchat rooms and thinly on Chaturbate rooms, here and on any other site working from the same feeds. If you filter by look or body type, you are mostly filtering Stripchat whether you meant to or not.
Can you filter by language on either site?
Only in one direction, and it is worth knowing why.
Our index carries language data for 13 languages on Stripchat with at least 30 models online: Spanish (1,391), French (468), German (422), Russian (280), Italian (231), then a long tail. For Chaturbate we have English and Spanish, and nothing else clears the same threshold.
That is a gap in what the feed reports, not a statement about who speaks what. Plenty of Chaturbate models speak languages other than English. Those tags simply are not in the data we receive. In practice it means language filtering works on Stripchat rooms and works poorly on Chaturbate rooms, here or on any other site pulling the same feeds.
If you browse by language, Spanish-speaking cams is the largest of those pages.
What these numbers cannot tell you
Cost is the biggest gap. We do not carry pricing, token rates, or tipping data, and we are not going to estimate them from the outside.
Quality is not in here either. Counting rooms is not the same as judging them, and no figure above tells you how good a stream is, how long a performer has been broadcasting, or how well they run a room.
The data also can't follow a person across networks. We index each feed separately, so a model who streams on both appears twice with nothing linking the two entries. Every count above treats those as two people, because from the data's point of view they are.
Which one should you pick?
Neither one wins outright, which is a dull answer but the one the numbers support.
On size the two are effectively equal, with roughly the same share of the roster live at any hour. What differs is who is on that roster. Stripchat is the better pick for couples and for browsing by language or category, mostly because it publishes more about its models. Chaturbate is better for male and trans models. For female performers the two are close enough that other things decide it.
Our network breakdown tracks these counts across every network we index and is updated periodically. For two networks that sit below the giants, we also compared Jerkmate and LiveJasmin the same way.
FAQ
Is Chaturbate bigger than Stripchat?
By profile count, yes: 62,337 to 54,719 in our index, about 14% more. By models online at any given moment the two are much closer, and the share of each roster that is live comes out nearly identical.
Which has more Colombian models?
Chaturbate, by raw count: 1,152 live rooms against Stripchat's 893. As a share of everyone online the two are close, 26.3% and 23.0%. Colombia is the largest single country on both networks.
Why do the category counts look so different?
Because the two networks use different tag vocabularies and apply them at very different rates. The counts describe how each network labels its models, not how many models of a given type it has.
Do the same models appear on both sites?
Some do. We index each network separately, so a performer who streams on both shows up as two profiles with nothing linking them. We don't try to match identities across networks.
How often do these numbers change?
Our index refreshes every few minutes, so live counts move throughout the day and follow fairly predictable peaks. Total profile counts shift more slowly, as new models join and inactive ones drop out.
